Prime Minister's Cup Cricket: 63-run target against Lumbini


 Lumbini has set a target of 63 runs to win the fourth edition of the Prime Minister's Cup One-Day Men's Cricket in Nepal. Far-Western batted first and scored only 62 runs.

After losing the toss at Mulpani Cricket Ground, Sudurpaschi lost all their wickets in 27.4 overs and managed to score only 62 runs. Narayan Joshi scored 17 runs and captain Santosh Bhatta scored 11 runs for Far West. Other players could not score double figures. Lumbini's Krishna Karki was the top bowler with four wickets. Similarly, Anil Kharel and Bikram Bhusal took two wickets each while Sandeep Sunar and Dipendra Rawat took one wicket each.

Lumbini, in Group B, are third with two points from two games. Lumbini had defeated Province No. 2 by 77 runs in the first match and Lumbini Police Club by 74 runs in the second match. Similarly, Far West has lost two games so far and is scoreless. Far West lost to Bagmati Pradesh by 180 runs in the first match and Police Club by nine wickets in the second match.
