Uranium deposit in Nepal
Uranium is a radioactive metals present in the Actinides series of modern periodic table. The atomic number of Uranium is 92 and the atomic mass is 238.0289 amu. Uranium is used in making Uranium bomb and also in nuclear power plant. Nuclear power plant is nowadays biggest source of energy. The countries like United States, France, Japan, Germany, etc have their unclear power plants. France generates 75% of its electricity from nuclear power plants. It is the world's largest net exporter of electricity and gains over € 3 billion per year from this. From the researches Uranium is still an abundant natural resource and could provide us energy for many years. Rocks that contain a lot or Uranium are called uranium ore. According to the Department of Mines and Geology (DoMG) in Nepal,there is a large deposit of uranium in the upper Mustang , which borders the China and Nepal.
