How to add natural glow in our skin?
The complexities of
modern life take a toll on our health and this is shown on our face.
Man or women, who doesn’t like a glow or a seen on the skin ? A
face that radiates freshness and zest is highly appreciated and is
welcome anywhere.
Apart from good food what else brings that glow?
Certainly Yoga, Meditation and Positive Thinking are the key factors.
Yoga is one of the most ancient forms of exercise. It has many
additional benefits apart from keeping us slim and trim. So it must
be made part of our daily schedule. It can be done at anytime of the
day. Surya Namashkaras(facing and vowing early morning sunlight) typically harmonise different hormones and
help in achieving perfect beauty.
In addition to yoga, Meditation is
another key to healthy – looking skin. A meditation session for 20
minutes a day calms down our mind and keep us focused. After a days
stressful work, just spend 20 minutes meditating. While doing so, do
not let your thoughts drift away. It clears your mind and helps you
think straight.’Think right’ gives way to positive thinking. It
means you see ‘hope’ in every aspect that happens around you or
to you directly. Once you develop right attitude through positive
thinking, you commence to see the brighter side of everything, which
gives immense happiness. This happiness radiates as joy on your face
and adds glow to you. Once you are on the right track, your
confidence levels rise high. It complements not only the over all
personality but also the looks. No doubt, a thing of beauty is a joy
for ever. A beautiful face can lit up face around. So to maintain
that shine and glow , you have to drink plenty of water to drive away
antioxidants from your body. Eat lots of fruits, vegetables rich in
proteins and vitamins, soya milk etc. All these bring that lustre on
your face. Another way is water therapy. Take warm water with Epsom
salt and soak your feet in it. This will decrease swelling, and
softened , gently wear it down with a pumice stone. You can also
moisturise the area with calendula herbal cream or oil to help keep
the skin soft and prevent painful cracking or otherwise you can even
try lotions with lactic acid.
